Living Apart
Cyrus Walker and his wife, Mary, lived apart for several months while she was at home with their baby on a farm in Linn County, and he was still employed at the Warm Spings Agency. He wrote to her often about daily happenings at the Warm Springs Agency, reporting news about the school for the tribes' children, new arrivals at the Agency, and daily work.
